History, Skills, and Physical Capabilities

Born in Rushville Illinois, small town of 3,300 with one stoplight I lived surrounded by farms and the natural environment. My dad expected me to take over the family business of farming but unfortunately I have a much more meaningful path in mind. But in working with him and others I've laid down brick patios and fire pits, loaded timber, gravel, bricks and cement, mixed cement and poured and smoothed it out for driveways and walkways, mowed by push mower some of the most challenging yards you'd ever see, and have even herded cattle at a sale barn for a day.

I've participated in most major sports as a hobby in my years, soccer, roller skating, bike riding, hiking, mountain climbing, rock & tree climbing, skiing, pole vaulting, running, golfing and more. On top of that I also hold 10 years of martial arts experience spanning Tang Soo Do, Judo, Aikido, and Tae Kwon Do which I hold a black belt in; I still continue martial arts to this day as a hobby to which sparring is my favorite past time.

Carrying 50 pounds comes easy for me, 10 pull-ups (140 lbs) is average, and I have a pickup truck that is not scared to work.

I am proficient at computers (Windows mostly) and can perform basic tech support. I often tell people to call me before calling a 'professional' since I find myself solving tech related problems before they decide to call them or I end up correcting the 'professionals' handy work. As well as other electronic equipment in general.

And I specialize in the animal industry as my main hobby and/or carrier choice. I've completed one year of EATM (Exotic Animal Training Management) program in Moorpark, know basic animal training and have trained rats to run obstacle courses, and have experience in working with exotics including birds of prey, reptiles, and others. I've also done dog grooming at Moorpark Petco.

In addition to my experiences from EATM I've been growing in knowledge and capabilities in being able to perform and speak on stage to groups of individuals to educate them about wildlife and make it fun and interactive for them, as well as give guided tours. As I grow, I become a people person more and more and speaking at special education schools and communities is what I want to do professionally 5 years from now.

Photography and videography are growing as hobbies of mine, especially with a recent purchase of a new digital HD camcorder of mine. As well as photo, video editing and a little computer graphic design.
If you would like to see examples of what I've done please ask

Although I must note I would not hire me to do math related or construction projects alone that require unguided building from scratch. Beyond simple numbers my math becomes sketchy, and sometimes the universe prohibits me from building even a simple bookshelf on my own. But things requiring assembly like store bought furniture I have no problems with.

And I even do a good amount of writing on my personal projects which you are welcome to see upon request.

All in all, I do not specialize in any one particular thing, however I am well rounded enough to be proficient at virtually anything I do from the very start with minimal training.

Client Testimonials

"Rem came in to help the day before a large party I was holding. Almost before I outlined what was needed, she was in the kitchen, organizing things just the way I wanted -- it was like she was reading my mind! Rem is a hard-working, intelligent person who needs little direction -- just point her in the general direction of things that need doing, and she'll make it happen."

"
I had a horrible mess of filing to do, and my husband convinced me to get help. My worst dread was that I would only find people lacking in the skills that are necessary to sort important papers unless they were a top-level secretary. What a blessing to have Rem’s help! I was so gratified by her alacrity and skills of discernment. We plowed through that mountain in no time. As soon as the pile gets high enough, I’ll have her back without a second’s hesitation."

" Remrie Arrie came to my business through a school sponsored program and worked out so well that I hired her after the program ended. I found her to be a very reliable hard working person, who has a good work ethic and would still be with our firm had... she not moved to California to attend school."
~ Thom Lawson, owner Macomb Petland
